My bicycle folds towards the back of the frame and the frame splits horizontally and rotates towards the front of the bike. The bike rotates around a cylinder and there is a button that you press which releases the grip on the cylinders allowing you to rotate the bike. Once the bike is in position you click the button again and the grip keeps it in place. 

I modeled my bicycle in the software Alias. I chose to use Alias as it allowed you to model more organic shapes. To start of with I imported all the standard parts for the bike of grab cad.I made a template in solid works of the bike I choose to know where to place all the parts, so they were in the right place. Some parts like the wheels and the handle bars I modified to make my own.
